This grant supports operational costs of three programs for children and adults with severe, multiple disabilities over 2 years.
Cerebral Palsy Greece was founded in 1972 with the purpose of providing care for people suffering from cerebral palsy. CPG is a leader in the field of disability in Greece, offering a wide array of services to over 240 persons of all ages, for free, on a daily basis—and to more than 4,000 families in total since its inception. CPG aims at the systematic provision of services to children and adults with cerebral palsy and ongoing support to their families; the eradication of discrimination of people with cerebral palsy; the training and further education of specialized staff dealing with disability; the raising of public awareness on all related issues; the encouragement of scientific research, particularly with regards to prevention; and the promotion of legislative and government measures in favor of disabled people.
